A few days ago I went to the Sydney installment of the Adobe AIR / Flex 3 pre-release tour, where Daniel Dura, Adobe’s “Platform Evangelist” (which apparently doesn’t mean a born again new romantic, it means someone who spreads the word about the Adobe platform, which means, I guess, the Flash Player and related development [...]
I sat down at yet another new win32 workstation on Monday morning to start at a new workplace. It took me a while to remember all the software (apart from the CS Suite, which was already installed) I would need to civilise the evil OS.
So I’m listing them here, mostly for my own future reference. [...]
Today I start a three-month contract at C4, a design agency based in Surry Hills. Just finding my feet at the moment; as projects go live I’ll be posting links …
Perhaps the latest round of squabbling from the Tory grassroots (the front bench may have successfully rebranded themselves with the party’s official name, “Conservatives”, but the bulk of the party are the same Tories they always were) will provide the Liberals some tactical space - if they were willing to use it.

Right now I’m working with the small FacebookUser.pic_square attribute, which is why things look pixelated. [...]
Wow - amazing Papervision3D demo at BlitzAgency. Emulates the Cover Show animation of iTunes. Fantastic.
