At last, an orthodox file manager for OS X … that is, not just something that runs on OS X (like the Java app muCommander or KDE’s Krusader, which runs via X Windows), but a proper native app. I’ve just installed XFolders, and it’s brilliant – sehr gut!

Have you tried PathFinder from CocoaTech? I use it as a commander http://www.flickr.com/photos/og2t/2688507901 and it’s great!
Can you really use it as an orthodox file manager? Doesn’t look like it has full support for the – very basic! – concept …
You’re probably right… but there’s a command/terminal window built in, you just have to activate it… The newest version also supports dual panel view. Have a look at this http://www.flickr.com/photos/12739382@N04/sets/72157617780381352/detail/ Looks quite promising!
