I have never been a fan of Perl, but I had to use CPAN today to install SVN::Web, and I’m very impressed by how well thought out the process was. I’m not sure how much of that is CPAN and how much is the SVN::Web package, but all in all a much easier experience than I was expecting. I had to install subversion-perlbindings but as previousy mentioned, DarwinPorts makes software installation a breeze. CPAN is way better than that ugly monstrosity PEAR …




So let me get this straight…..are you are the same Joshua Mostafa who works for http://www.vtc.com?….and I could be wrong about that….I usually am….I’m taking the Perl tutorial you created and narrated……but you say you’ve never been a big fan of it…….funny….because the class is 100% top notch and your narration is engaging and entertaining…..oh well I see your a Mac user…..maybe that explains your sarcasm….any way I like the blog and your thoughts on the net “Any text is just part of the continuum of culture.
