Arrived late at the webdu conference at Sydney Convention Centre - just in time to catch the end of the keynote speech from the Adobe reps.
Flash CS4 looks interesting - in particular the ability to manipulate 3D rotations on an object (with the new 3D capabilities in Astro), and the animation controls, which are much more intuitive - you can directly manipulate the path of animations via guides that appear in the Flash DE. Finally they have fixed the behaviour of panels in the OS X version - they’re now docked like in the Windows version. The Pixelbender examples look amazing.
There are some neat things in Fireworks, too, which they’re pushing as a rapid prototyping app, and a cure for the pain of slicing up designs before putting into Flash.
And they touted some improvements to Dreamweaver, which make it … almost as good as Firebug :P
